    2 years ago today, on November 22, 2014, Tamir Rice was shot by the police for playing with a toy gun sitting on the swing in a city park in Cleveland, Ohio.

    Police officer Timothy Loehmann fired two shots, one of the shots hit Tamir in his torse which resulted in him dying the following day.

    Tamir would have turned 14 years old earlier this year - on June 25. But he was killed by a cop who was never held accountable for the murder.

    We will never forget you #TamirRice. Rest in peace, sweet angel.

    A man at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum told me the best story today while we were standing outside the Education Center… He said that Taylor comes in there everyone once in a while, and last month when she visited she spotted a mom with two little girls. She went up to the mom and tapped her on the shoulder, and whispered for her to step back, and then Taylor grabbed the two little girls hands and kept walking for a few seconds (they didn’t even notice it wasn’t their mom). After a few seconds, Taylor went, “Isn’t this great?!” and the two little girls looked up and freaked out. Like if that doesn’t show you how great Taylor is I don’t know what does.
